Director of Fund Development

Loving Venti, LLC. is a consulting practice, specifically focused on small-to-medium sized nonprofits, that fills organizational cracks so that nonprofits can serve to their fullest capacity. We do this by helping nonprofits improve operations, create alignment, and empower their staff/volunteers to fulfill its mission through a people-centered approach.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, people-centered Director of Fund Development to join our growing team. This leadership role oversees all fund development projects, focusing on grant writing and strategic fundraising for our nonprofit partners.

Position Details

• This is a long-term position with consistent weekly hours. The role is available as either full-time (up to 40 hours/week) or part-time (minimum of 25 hours/week), depending on candidate availability. Specific hours will be discussed and confirmed during the interview process.
• Compensation is $35/hour, with three weeks of pro-rated paid time off (PTO) and 11 pro-rated flexible paid holidays annually.
• This is a hybrid role based in Southeastern Wisconsin, with a mix of remote work and in-person staff and partner meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Leadership: Collaborate with leadership to shape development strategies and manage calendars for grants and fundraising across partner projects.
• Internal Oversight (30%): Guide Loving Venti’s internal fundraising, proposal development, and onboarding. Maintain templates and documentation for consistent delivery.
• External Services (70%): Serve as lead strategist for 3–6 nonprofit clients, creating fundraising plans, managing grant lifecycles, and writing/submitting proposals.
