Persuasive PowerPoints

About the Event

Hosted by the Developing Professionals Special Interest Group

If you cringe when you hear the word “PowerPoint,” this is for you.  Properly used, PowerPoint can help you connect with donors and prospects and help them understand why your mission matters.  We’ll quickly review the main PowerPoint “don’ts” (you probably know them already from your own experience) and spend most of our time on how to create compelling presentations using PowerPoint.

Frank Miller is a semi-retired marketing communications and fundraising professional who has worked in Milwaukee nonprofits for more than 35 years.  He currently works in fundraising and development communications at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School.  Past employers include Alverno College, the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, the Milwaukee Art Museum, and the BloodCenter of Wisconsin.
