About the Event

Development plans – ugh, am I right? The prospect is daunting and who has the time? Join us for Tamara Pacada’s “Demystifying the Development Plan” to discuss the value of having a plan to help you focus your work and increase gift revenue success. Besides, it could save your job as you complete the tasks that you and your superiors (staff, board) agreed to whether or not the hoped-for outcome was accomplished. Tamara will provide a roadmap of the necessary components and real world examples. Bring your questions!
Tamara Pacada, CFRE (she/her) started as the Development Director at CASEL (Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning) in June 2021. Prior to joining CASEL, Tamara served as the Managing Director of Development at City Year Milwaukee for nine years. In that role, she oversaw the fund development, civic engagement, and brand/communications work. She also held roles as the Fund Development Manager for Menomonee Valley Partners working on behalf of the From the Ground Up campaign in partnership with the Urban Ecology Center, at Volunteers of America, and the California 4-H Foundation.  In 2010, Tamara achieved both her CFRE and her Master’s in Business Administration from Marquette University as part of the Trinity Fellows Program, and in 2017 completed the Developing Leaders Program for Nonprofit Professionals at Columbia University.
