AFP After Work Aftermath

Three AFP members with wine posing for a pictureMore than 50 AFP members and guests came together to enjoy the view at BLU on Monday, July 17 to celebrate summer, each other and the spirit of philanthropy.  AFP “Celebrity Bartenders” Carolyn Hahn, Doug Diefenbach and Erin Richardson, demonstrated their skills and kept the spirits flowing.  The Pfister offers these events to local nonprofits and ten percent of the proceeds and all bartender tips are given back to the community.

AFP chose to have a drawing among attendees to select our local recipient.  Karen Samelson, a local grant writer, was our lucky winner and directed the proceeds of $284.32 to Serenity Inns, or organization which supports men in recovery from substance abuse.
