The Development and Engagement Specialist plays a vital role in advancing the Foundation’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This position is well-suited for an early-to-mid-career development professional (2–5 years of experience) who is eager to take meaningful ownership of annual fund outreach, steward donor relationships, and support cultivation activities and special events—while continuing to learn and grow within a high-performing and evolving development team.
In this role, the Specialist independently manages donor outreach initiatives while providing strong operational, logistical, and administrative support across the Foundations, development activities. The position requires significant autonomy in managing donor relationship, tailoring communications and engagement approaches to individual donor interests and feedback. Because relationship management is not scripted, the Specialist must exercise sound judgement in cultivating and stewarding donors within established guidelines. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as the role must adjust to donor availability and event timelines, including modifying work hours when needed to meet organizational priorities.
