Join us at this session to learn how to best plan for your year-end appeal. First, Jayne Pfeifer with Thysse will give a ‘state of’ direct mail including considerations such as supply shortages and timelines, suggestions to save costs due to price increases overall, and postal promos and changes. Then Taylor Schult, Managing Director of Annual Giving and Advancement Services at Marquette University, will give an overview of MU’s year-end strategy focusing on a multichannel approach with direct mail supplemented by targeted e-mail, digital, text and phone outreach.

Jayne Pfeifer has been in the direct mail industry for over 25 years, currently working in Business Development at Thysse in Oregon, Wisconsin. Throughout her career, her experience has largely focused on nonprofits – enhancing marketing and fundraising efforts by using targeted data, analytics, creative design and print production efficiencies.
Taylor Schult, Managing Director, Annual Giving & Advancement Services University Advancement, Marquette University
Taylor Schult oversees annual giving, gift services and advancement services for Marquette University. Her experience in annual giving includes leading efforts around direct marketing, digital strategy, as well as phonathon, reunion, young alumni and student giving programs. Taylor also collaborates closely with colleagues in alumni and parent engagement to ensure strategic fundraising opportunities are infused within programming.
