Life Cycle of a Donor Database

About the Event

June Educational Luncheon

Presented by Lawrence Henze, Principal Consultant/Founder for Target Analytics, a division of Blackbaud

With 37 years in the fund development world, I have seen the evolution of fundraising databases from index cards, spreadsheets, DOS to Windows and to present-day data visualization tools paired with a data warehouse for BIG data. After a brief walk down bad memory lane, we will focus on the following:

  1. What good data can do for you
  2. What is good data
  3. How to use data for trend analysis, descriptive statistics and predictive analytics
  4. A few key implementation techniques
