Keep Calm and Love Your Donors

About the Event

February Educational Luncheon

The new tax bill could have great impact on charitable giving. Join us for a session to breakdown what we know about the Tax Reform and Jobs Act of 2017; what our donors expect us to know and how to minimize and maximize the details of the tax law that can impact philanthropy.

A partner in the Private Wealth group of Husch Blackwell, Phillip Miller, will join us for this update.

Part two of our session will focus on what we can control: Donor Stewardship!

What tips and tools can we employ to ensure that we are doing all we can to make our donors feel loved and appreciated? Christine Baranoucky, VP of Donor Engagement for Children’s Hospital Foundation will discuss the stewardship processes she has worked with in the past and what they are developing at Children’s. In addition to sharing tools and outlines, she will discuss how you merge process with the relationships that our gift officers are creating and nurturing through their work.

During lunch, we will invite attendees to share their favorite or most creative Stewardship moment.
