Emotional Intelligence: Your Leading Edge

About the Event

April Educational Luncheon

Want to build more personal (and persuasive) relationships with your donors?  Then consider: Emotional Intelligence is twice as significant as IQ and Technical/Functional Skills combined as a predictor of success.

Please join us for a conversation with Karen Vernal, President and CEO of Vernal Management Consultants, LLC.

Karen will engage us in an interactive session to answer the following questions:

  • “What can I do when I “freeze” in  difficult situations?”
  • “How come I say “yes” when I really want to say “no”?
  • “Why can’t I think when someone ‘pushes’ my buttons?
  • “ What happens when my intention and impact are not congruent?”

You will leave the seminar with a good understanding of Emotional Intelligence; strategies for managing difficult situations and a greater sense of how demonstrating emotional intelligence is the defining factor in your success.
