When your annual appeal falls short of expectations and your fiscal year goal and limited budget have you stressed, don’t worry, there are solutions!  This session will present cost-effective ideas to help you meet your fundraising goal as well as best practices to set yourself up for future success, regardless of the size of your organization.  Topics include list segmentation, packaging, customization, multi-channel strategies, and maximizing your budget.

Who Should Attend? 

This brown bag lunch educational session is geared towards the "developing" fundraising professional - anyone who's been in the field for less than 10 years, is returning to the field after taking a break, or is new to their position within fundraising.

About Our Presenter:

Angela Bartosik joined Marquette University in 2011 and serves as the assistant director of annual giving. She helps lead all strategies related to fundraising through mail, email and social media channels. Angela has twelve years of experience working in annual giving in higher education and non-profit arts organizations. 

Patrick McCarthy has spent the past 27 years in marketing and fundraising roles for local nonprofits, including the past 13 years with Marquette University.  He previously spent two years as director of marketing and fund development for United Community Center and 12 years as Communications Coordinator and later Communications Manager for United Way of Greater Milwaukee.   He has worked with direct mail and tele-fundraising efforts for most of that time, including planning, writing, segmentation, customization and post-solicitation analysis.
