Partners in Philanthropy Opportunity

The impact of our partnerships with donors, advocates and volunteers allow us to do the extraordinary work realized by over 2.2-million nonprofits throughout the country, and almost 35,000 in Wisconsin alone.

Partners in Philanthropy is a unique opportunity for each member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals to nominate two donors* that have made a difference to your organization and to the greater community. This is a great way to provide recognition and stewardship to those that have helped your organization achieve its mission.

This opportunity to nominate partners is one of the benefits of being an AFP member, whether you are able to attend our National Philanthropy Day event or not.  Partners will be recognized: in the program, listed in the presentation, posted on our website and acknowledged in various ways through event media coverage.

*Note, a family or couple equal one donor.

Attend With Your Partner

Partnership extends a wonderful stewardship opportunity for many nonprofits who enjoy the event with their Partners in Philanthropy.  Your special partners will be recognized that day
by the entire philanthropic community not only through published recognition but with ribbons of acknowledgment so everyone will know their passion for your organization.

How to Recognize Your Partners

Each AFP SEWI individual member can recognize two Partners in Philanthropy.  If your organization has more than one AFP SEWI chapter member, then you can recognize two donors per member (i.e., five AFP members equals ten partner nominations). *Note, a family or couple equal one donor. View the 2018 Honor Roll here.

To nominate, send your partner(s) names and organization you represent to :
