Salary Range: $59,000-$64,000

Job Summary:

The Development Manager plays a critical role in the annual giving program and is responsible for overseeing grant funding and reporting. They will be responsible for increasing the pipeline of annual donors in collaboration with the Director of Development and Vice president of Development, implementing special events, and overseeing the organization’s donor relations, development operations and donor database. 

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and solicit new supporters to increase individual donors to meet center goals. Oversee the annual fund program from concept to creation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and solicit new annual fund supporters to support ambitious organization goals.
  • Develop and submit grant proposals, track and report on grant outcomes, maintain relationships with funders, and ensure compliance with all grant requirements. Monitor the implementation of funded projects or programs. • Serve as a direct fundraiser, soliciting donations both personally and through appeal tools and other staff/ volunteer fundraising.
  • Manage corporate donor stewardship and fulfillment of sponsor benefits  
  • Produce high-quality reports. Report accurate information on giving and department performance on a regular basis while ensuring that all gifts are stewarded consistently, appropriately, and in a timely fashion.
  • Create and regularly generate a contributed revenue Dashboard.  
  • Oversee the tele-funding program to ensure strategic goals and specific objectives are both articulated in advance and objectives are met.
  • Prepare documentation, proposals, talking points, information, data for all senior level meetings with potential donors/sponsors/partners • Manage the annual BASH fundraising event expense and income budget.
  • Attend Development events, performances, and programs as needed to ensure smooth operations, assist with logistics, troubleshoot, and serve as liaison between facilities staff, event hosts, and guests.  
  • Collaborate and coordinate productively with other internal departments and serve as the Development lead for Marketing, Communications, and External Relations.  
  • Conduct prospect donor research, create donor profiles and manage wealth screenings
