Manager of Development

Job Summary

Clement Manor is a faith-based independent living, assisted living, CBRF, and long-term care community recognized for providing a high-quality environment for older adults.

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Manager of Development to lead and grow our philanthropic efforts in support of our mission of providing a continuum of care and fostering well-being through the values of respect, collaboration, and quality service. This position develops, implements, and manages fundraising programs that strengthen donor relationships, increase philanthropic revenue, and expand community partnerships.

The Manager of Development will work closely with senior leadership to advance fundraising initiatives and foster a culture of philanthropy throughout the organization. This role will also collaborate with the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charities Ministries (FSCCM) on fundraising initiatives that support shared goals.

This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Community Engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage annual fundraising programs.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual, corporate, foundation, and community donors.
  • Build relationships with current and prospective donors to increase engagement and support.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify funding priorities and opportunities.
  • Manage donor database/CRM systems, ensuring accurate records, reporting, and communications.
  • Track fundraising performance and analyze donor trends to guide strategy.
  • Coordinate donor recognition and stewardship activities.
  • Represent Clement Manor at community events and cultivate partnerships.
  • Partner with FSCCM on fundraising initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Support special events, campaigns, and other development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. CFRE certification preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum five (5) years of successful nonprofit fundraising experience.
  • Demonstrated success in donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and revenue growth.
  • Experience managing donor databases and CRM systems.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.
