The Southeastern Wisconsin chapter’s commitment to education and training is supported by several scholarship opportunities. Applications are accepted throughout the year and are awarded by the Scholarship Committee. You must be a member of AFP Southeastern Wisconsin to be eligible for a conference or education scholarship.
Fundraising Day Wisconsin Scholarship
Fundraising Day Wisconsin is a full-day conference, offering opportunities to learn from nationally known presenters and network with over 300 area development and nonprofit professionals. This year’s conference theme is advancing philanthropy’s work through sustainable strategies, resilient teams, and the Next Generation of Giving.

Membership Scholarships
In partnership with AFP Global, AFPSEWI is excited to offer ten scholarships that cover one year of free AFP Global and chapter membership.
These awards are intended to serve fundraisers at any stage of their careers, including those new to the profession, first-time AFP members, current or lapsed chapter members for whom the cost of membership is a hardship or a barrier, and small nonprofit organizations.
Professional colleagues from all backgrounds including those that represent one or more IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access) constituencies are invited to apply.
Scholarship recipients are asked to commit to active participation in chapter activities.

AFP Icon Scholarships
AFPSEWI’s Scholarship Committee will offer three substantial scholarship awards to chapter members to attend the AFP International Fundraising Conference (ICON) in San Diego from April 26-28, 2026.
Chamberlain Scholarship (1 available) – Covers the cost of conference registration (minus a $10 processing fee) plus $2,000 to use toward travel and lodging. For first-time ICON attendees only. Diversity and financial need are considered but not required.
AFPSEWI Chapter Scholarship (2 available) – Provides a total of $2,000 to be used toward conference registration, travel, and lodging. After paying the registration fee (at the Preview Rate), recipients will have approximately $1,000 to cover travel and lodging.
Scholarship amounts may not completely cover the cost of your conference experience, and recipients are responsible for any costs over the amount of their award.
